Specialist housing for independent living trials and complex rehabilitation needs

We provide professionally prepared, adaptable residential properties that enable Independent Living Trials (ILTs) and longer-term rehabilitation outcomes for individuals with complex injury and support needs.

Praxis Independence works alongside case managers, care providers, occupational therapists and deputies to remove housing as a barrier to progress — delivering safe, appropriate homes when they are needed most.

What we do

Independent Living Trials depend on one thing above all else: the right housing, available at the right time.

Praxis Independence sources, prepares and manages residential properties specifically suited to ILTs and complex rehabilitation placements. Our homes are selected and configured to support dignity, safety, flexibility and clinical decision-making — without delays, uncertainty or compromise.

We are not a traditional landlord.
We are a housing partner designed for rehabilitation pathways.

Who we work with

We work in close collaboration with:

  • Rehabilitation case managers

  • Care providers and clinical teams

  • Occupational therapists and housing specialists

  • Deputies and legal professionals

  • Insurer-funded and jointly instructed cases

Our role is simple: to make housing work, so rehabilitation can progress.

How it works

1. Property availability
We maintain and source suitable residential units aligned to typical ILT and rehabilitation requirements.

2. Clinical alignment
Properties are reviewed and adapted in line with occupational therapy guidance where required, ensuring safety, accessibility and practical usability.

3. Flexible occupancy
Our model supports placement terms of all lengths, with the flexibility required for ILTs, case progression and settlement timelines.

4. Reliable delivery
Clear terms, structured processes and professional standards — designed to support fundholders and reduce friction for case managers.

Why Praxis Independence

  • Housing prepared with rehabilitation in mind

  • Availability focused on need, not yield

  • Clear communication and dependable delivery

  • Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments

  • A partner approach — not a transactional one

We understand the pressures within rehabilitation pathways and the consequences when housing is delayed or unsuitable. Praxis Independence exists to solve that problem.

Our Approach

Every case is different. But the principles remain the same.

We prioritise:

  • Safety and dignity

  • Practicality and usability

  • Professional accountability

  • Long-term thinking over short-term solutions

Our objective is not simply to provide accommodation, but to support better outcomes through appropriate housing.

Praxis Independence was established in 2026 to address a persistent gap within rehabilitation and case management pathways: the lack of appropriate, timely housing for Independent Living Trials and specialist placements.

With deep roots in the UK property market, the founding team recognised that housing is often the critical bottleneck in enabling independence, rehabilitation progress and long-term settlement. Praxis Independence was created to provide a structured, reliable housing solution that aligns with the realities faced by case managers, care providers and fundholders.

Our approach is grounded in professionalism, accountability and collaboration. We are not traditional landlords. We work alongside clinical and care professionals to ensure that housing supports — rather than delays — meaningful outcomes.
